Every marketplace plugin I try requires WooCommerce as a base, and that pulls in 60 database tables, its own tax system, its own cart, its own shipping zones, and a bunch of UI I do not need for services. My use case is simple: vendors list services, buyers order with a price, vendors deliver digitally. No shipping, no physical inventory.
