WordPress theme with PeepSo support and dark mode

We are rebuilding our support community on PeepSo because it handles profile walls and messaging better than what we had before. Two hard requirements from the team: first, the theme has to actually know what PeepSo is rather than leaving it looking like a stock WordPress page, and second, we need a proper dark mode that members can toggle themselves and that sticks across sessions. Our audience browses late at night on mobile and they have asked for dark mode in three separate feedback rounds already.

Reign is one of the few themes that supports PeepSo as a first-class community engine alongside BuddyPress and BuddyBoss. What that means in practice:

  • Override templates for PeepSo covering userbar, profile navigation, and hamburger menu, so the PeepSo UI matches the rest of the theme
  • Full dark mode with per-user preference saving, so each logged-in member keeps their light or dark choice across sessions
  • Dark mode logo switching, so your brand logo swaps to a light variant when dark mode is active
  • Dark mode coverage across addon integrations, including Dokan, LearnDash, TutorLMS, WCFM, WC Vendors, Sensei, WP Job Manager, and GeoDirectory
  • Four or more header layouts and sticky menu color options, so the top bar stays legible in both modes

Honest limits: dark mode is theme-level CSS, it does not recolor third-party plugin admin screens or plugins Reign has not explicitly integrated. If your site also uses BP Better Messages, WPForo, WP Stories, BuddyPress Reactions, or BuddyPress Hashtags, those are already covered in Reign's dark mode list.
