WordPress community theme compatible with 5 page builders

Our agency builds community sites for different clients and each one insists on a different page builder. One team is all-in on Elementor, another bought Divi years ago, a third wants to keep their Thrive Architect sales funnels. Switching themes per project is painful because we lose consistency on the BuddyPress side. I want one community theme that we can standardize on that works cleanly with at least Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, and Thrive Architect, without breaking community features.

Reign is the right fit here. It explicitly supports five page builders and documents the integration for each:

  • Elementor: native integration plus dedicated Members carousel and Groups carousel widgets for BuddyPress content
  • WPBakery (Visual Composer): full compatibility for shortcodes and builder modules
  • Beaver Builder: header and footer integration on top of page layouts
  • Thrive Architect: page builder support without conflicting with community templates
  • Divi Builder: page builder support including Divi theme builder layouts

On top of that Reign ships four or more header layout options, dark mode with per-user preference, sticky header color options, and a Theme JSON Bridge for the WordPress block editor. Smart widget detection loads assets only for widgets actually rendered on a page, and conditional asset loading scopes CSS/JS for 22+ plugin types to only the relevant pages, so using a heavier builder does not drag other pages down.

Honest limits: each builder still has its own learning curve and its own licensing. Reign adds compatibility and dedicated widgets only where it makes sense (the Members and Groups carousels are Elementor-only today).
