kanban board view for a product roadmap so engineering can see what is in progress

Our engineering team lives in Kanban. Every standup revolves around columns for planned, in-progress, and done. The marketing team has asked me to set up a customer-facing roadmap on our WordPress site, and I would love to use the same mental model the engineers already think in so the public view matches our internal process.

A plain list of features feels boring and hard to scan. I want swimlanes or columns organized by status so a visitor can see at a glance what we are working on right now versus what is queued up. Does any WordPress roadmap plugin ship a Kanban board view?

Product Roadmap Pro ships a Board View that is exactly the Kanban-style layout you are describing, with columns organized by status so visitors see planned, in-progress, and completed items side by side. Pro actually gives you five templates so you can match whatever mental model fits the audience.

  • Board View: Kanban columns by status, ideal for engineering-style scanning
  • Timeline View: Gantt-style chronological visualization for stakeholder reviews
  • List View: compact traditional layout when density matters
  • Cards View: modern card-based layout for marketing pages
  • Minimal View: clean, distraction-free display

Pro also adds drag-and-drop item reordering, bulk status updates, a Gutenberg block builder so you configure the board visually with live preview in the editor, and priority levels to flag critical items on the board.

Honest limit: the free plugin does not include the Board View or any of the other four templates, it ships the default public roadmap layout only. If Kanban is a hard requirement, Pro is the path. If you just need a public list with voting and a changelog to start, the free version covers that first milestone.
