Let customers preview PDF documents before purchasing on WooCommerce

We sell digital documents (templates, guides, reports) on WooCommerce. Customers want to preview the PDF before buying but we do not want to give away the full document. Is there a way to embed a document preview on the product page?

Woo Document Preview adds a preview button to WooCommerce product pages. Here is how it works:

  • Preview button — appears below the Add to Cart button. Customers click to open a modal preview.
  • Multiple documents per product — attach several documents with individual labels (e.g., "Preview Chapter 1", "Table of Contents").
  • Supported formats — PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, TXT.
  • Cloud documents — also supports Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, OneDrive, and Dropbox links. Just paste the URL.
  • Upload or link — upload files from your Media Library or paste external URLs. Both work.
  • View-only — the preview is embedded in a modal. No direct download link exposed.

Pro adds document watermarking (so previewed content has your branding), partial-page preview control (show only first 3 pages), and multi-vendor marketplace support for Dokan, WCFM, and WC Vendors.
