Adding hashtag support to BuddyPress activity

Our members already informally use # tags in activity updates but they are not clickable. Is there a BuddyPress plugin that makes hashtags real — linkable, searchable, with a feed per tag?

BuddyPress Hashtags parses #tag syntax in activity updates and converts them to clickable links. Each tag has its own feed page showing every update/post/reply using it, plus a trending hashtags widget for sidebars. Hashtags work across activity, forum posts, private messages, and profile statuses — so one # unifies every content surface. Admin can ban specific tags to prevent spam hashtag abuse.
